Glas Garten Environment Aquarium Soil is an active soil, made from various roasted and sterilized soils. This has been specially developed for use in the aquarium. It lowers and stabilizes the pH value naturally to approximately 5.5 to 6.5. The water hardness is also reduced, creating an optimal soil for plants and animals that prefer soft water.
This bottom soil ensures crystal clear water thanks to its special properties. It is rich in natural nutrients for beautiful plant growth and fresh green moss. Fulvic acids present improve the environment for plants, animals and micro-organisms from day one.
Environment Soil is produced in Japan and is of first-class quality. It meets all expectations and is used satisfactorily by many customers. Environment Soil is very popular for keeping and breeding dwarf shrimps and ornamental fish, as well as for aquascaping. Simply because it is easy to use and it creates a natural environment for an aquascape or shrimp aquarium.
- DO NOT wash the substrate before use
- Divide the bottom evenly or give the layout the desired shape
- Fill the aquarium with water carefully and slowly
TIP: to reduce the swirling of the bottom, you can use a saucer and carefully pour the water onto it.

- GlasGarten Environment Aquarium Soil is also suitable for combination with a bottom filter
- Not suitable for fish that like to dig around in the bottom. This can cloud the water.
- Not for fish, shrimp or plants that appreciate a high pH value
- A slight clouding of the water may occur shortly after installation, but it becomes crystal clear after a short time
- Keep the bag closed to prevent dehydration
