Using the included clamps, the fans can be attached to a glass plate or light hood with a thickness of up to 25mm. The unit can be tilted 55°. For extra safety, the fans are equipped with a safety grille. This is made of non-rusting aluminum and is therefore also suitable for saltwater.
In an aquarium, the temperature is a huge determining factor for the well-being of the animals. Most aquarium inhabitants feel comfortable at a temperature of 24 - 26° C. This temperature must therefore be maintained as precisely as possible. Temperatures of more than 30° C and strong temperature fluctuations are a problem for many residents and plants. Temperature fluctuations cause stress and can weaken fish. Lighting, pumps, room temperature and direct sunlight can cause the water temperature in the aquarium to rise to unhealthy levels.
With the help of aquarium coolers (e.g.: Aqua Cooler V2, V4 or V6) it is possible to bring the excessively high temperatures to a healthy level. The evaporative cold produced causes the temperature in the aquarium to drop.
Hobby Aqua Cooler is suitable for aquarium glass and aquarium cover plates up to max. 25 mm thick. Including transformer for safety low voltage (12V).

De cooler is gemakkelijk te installeren. Samen met de cooler control kan je instellen hoe warm je het water maximaal wil hebben. Zodra de temperatuur boven de ingestelde temperatuur komt, gaat de ventilator aan en koelt het water weer af. Erg blij met de cooler, zo heb ik geen omkijken meer naar de temperatuur tijdens de warme dagen.
