Eriocaulon cinerum 'Polaris'

Eriocaulon 'Polaris' is a special appearance in the aquarium. Now available as aquariumplant from tissue culture. The plant is quite small and has very narrow, pointed leaves. It's rather like a pin cushion or a sea urchin.

In the aquarium it happens regularly that flowers are formed. There will be a longer flower stems are formed with the white balls, what is the attractive value of this aquariumplant increased still further! By the shapes of the flowers touch aquariumplant be quickly exhausted. He then asks also a lot of CO2 and sufficient light, which makes it not the most easy plant. The genus Eriocaulon is generally set on soft water. Eriocaulon cinereum is more tolerant with regards to the hardness of the water and also grows in medium-hard water. Soft water will, however, take a more positive impact on the overall growth.


Eriocaulon 'Polaris' is a very decoractieve voorgrondplant that many playful effects. Is actually always an asset for a nice accent to the aquarium !

Heel goed!

Deze waren super! Er zaten heel veel stekjes in, niet maar 3 zoals op de foto. Denk dat ik er wel een stuk of 9 uit heb kunnen halen.
