In the aquarium it does very well in the middle zone or background. The petiole can develop a beautiful reddish-brown color. Sometimes it can take a while for him to get used to the conditions in the aquarium. A nutrient-rich substrate is appreciated, but otherwise it is a fairly easy aquarium plant to keep.
