Echinodorus 'Ozelot' is a hybrid between Echinodorus schluteri 'Leopard' and Echinodorus 'Barthii'. A very beautiful aquariumplant with beautifully marked leaves of 20-40cm long.
In the aquarium developed this plant dark spots on the reddish-brown to olive-green leaves. These spots are darkest on young leaves and will remain even at low light intensity visible. The plant grows well in a variety of circumstances and is therefore also very suitable for beginners or low-tech aquariums.
There is quite a root system formed, indicating that the plant nutrition mainly from the soil. A nutrient-rich substrate will do well. Large leaves can be cut off to keep him somewhat in check.
Echinodorus 'Ozelot' is an easy aquariumplant, suitable for a larger aquarium. The bottom is masking with lower planting !
