An ideal plant for beginners, because it grows in almost all conditions. It can even grow so fast that it can overgrow other plants. Insert the stems separately into the substrate. Stems that are too long can be cut off and the tops can be inserted into the substrate to make the group fuller. Loose leaves floating on the surface will also grow roots and form new plants.
Hygrophila polysperma can vary in leaf shape and leaf color depending on the presence of light and nutrients. With more light, the internodes will remain smaller and the buds will be redder in color.
