Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' is an easy-to-use aquarium plant of 20-40cm high with unique leaves on which the leaf veins have a pink color.
Intensive lighting is required to maintain the pink color. The discoloration of the veins is probably caused by a virus that prevents chlorophyll from being produced in the cells around the leaf veins. The virus does not affect other plants in the aquarium. Insert the stems separately into the substrate. Stems that are too long can be cut off and the tops can be inserted into the substrate to make the group fuller. Loose leaves floating on the surface will also grow roots and form new plants.
Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' has a special pattern that appeals to the imagination. Ideal to add a nice accent to the aquarium!
