Hygrophila corymbosa 'Siamensis 53B' is a variant of the Hygrophila corymbosa 'Siamensis'. However, it forms many more side shoots and quickly becomes a beautiful bunch. The stems can grow 15-40cm long and the leaves 7-12cm.
The leaves are slightly narrower and have a beautiful bright green color. Under good light conditions the leaves even turn red-brown. This is a very easy plant for the aquarium that makes few demands. Stems that are too large can be cut off and the tops can be replanted in the substrate. A new offshoot will grow on the cut part. Plant the stems with sufficient space between them, so that the lower part also receives sufficient light.
Preferably provide a nutrient-rich soil and sufficient light. In the absence of light, the lower leaves may fall off.

Mooie planten ontvangen van Azaqua echter ze hebben veel te lijden in mijn bak. Bodem van grind met capsules voor voeding en dagelijkse vloeibare voeding. Planten vertonen veel gaten na verloop van tijd in de bladeren. Ik vind ze echter erg mooi en ga nog 1x proberen met aanplanten van nieuwe planten. Dit keer met meer voedings capsules erbij.
Sinds 2 weken in mijn diskustank op 28°c en met CO2. Hij lijkt het heel goed te doen. Heeft inmiddels al een stuk of 3 nieuwe bladeren. De plant is goed bestendig tegen de hogere temperatuur.
Zoals veel planten bij Azaqua komen ook deze van Tropica en is daarmee de kwaliteit vaak gegarandeerd. 2 mooie, volle planten ontvangen!

De plantjes zijn snel geleverd en hadden veel mooie groene stekjes. Nu een week later is al het blad eraf. Hopelijk slaat de groei van de plant alsnog aan.
