Ludwigia palustris is all over the world to find and when aquariumplant redder in color and less permanent than the well-known Ludwigia repens 'Rubin'. Each stem is 10-30cm high and 2-4cm wide.
Plant the stems individually or in small groves. Long stems can be pruned and the remaining parts are new shoots. The cut-off tops can the substrate be inserted to enable the group to expand. Also produces the plant itself foothills. Ludwigia palustris developed also aerial roots that extra nutrients from the water can be absorbed. Care for proper growth and development of an intense color for sufficient light and CO2 and nutrients to reach the roots.
