EHEIM CO2 Solenoid valve for powerLED+
With the solenoid valve, the CO2 supply in the aquarium can be switched off - eg to regulate the pH or at night.
By turning off the supply at night, up to 50% CO2 can be saved, because photosynthesis only takes place in daylight, where plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen. At night or without light, the plants consume oxygen, therefore CO2 fertilization would not be beneficial.
EHEIM CO2 - 24V solenoid valve for powerLED+
This solenoid valve has been specially developed for the EHEIM LEDcontrol+ light control system. It is connected to the EHEIM powerLED+ lighting and LEDcontrol+ and switches off the CO2 supply at night during sunset. At sunrise, the CO2 supply is activated again. The solenoid valve can also be operated without LEDcontrol+ with a standard timer. Note: The solenoid valve is not dimmable.
For pH-controlled CO2 fertilization, this solenoid valve can also be linked to EHEIM pHcontrol+e. Via the smartphone, tablet or browser it is then possible to automatically switch to the CO2 supply when a set pH value has been reached.
