In an aquascape, it's all about details and finesse. Plantahunter gravel Baikal is ideal to use to glaciers, fallen rocks or gravel areas along mimic. The gravel consists of flat stones in various sizes for a playful effect. Once under water the dark gray color is a beautiful contrast with lush green vegetation or light bedding such as La Plata Sand. Fish feel generally more comfortable with a dark bottom, making colors stand out more. The gravel is, however, less suitable for bodemwoelende fish such as Corydoras, because the sharp can be.
