Daytime Matrix profile
The new Daytime Matrix LED aquarium lighting offers even more options to customize the lighting according to your wishes. The Matrix modules with extremely high performance provide an incredible amount of light of no less than 180 Lumen per Watt!! They also have a balanced spectrum. The possibility to combine multiple Matrix modules in one Matrix profile makes it possible to put together the lighting according to your wishes.
The Matrix modules are easy to screw into the desired position. This means that every spot in the aquarium can be illuminated with its own module. Moreover, no more light will be lost above crossbeams/stabilos, because the modules can be easily moved. In a biotope aquarium, for example, a dark corner can be deliberately created in this way by screwing the modules to one side of the profile. The new technology allows the modules to be mounted directly against each other, without the need for space in between.
Supplied with a transparent protective plate to prevent the modules from becoming dirty or damaged.
Configure the LED aquarium lighting yourself
The Daytime Matrix parts can be assembled yourself and are delivered separately. Order the correct length of the Matrix profile and look carefully at how many Matrix Modules fit in it. These modules can then be ordered separately. The individual modules can be mounted in the profile in a very simple manner according to your wishes. Then select the correct 12V adapter that provides sufficient power. Optional is the light control using an LED computer or Daytime Smart Control.
1. Choose the correct length Daytime Matrix Profile (see table below)
2. Select the desired Daytime Matrix confirmation confirmation option
3. Select the desired Daytime Matrix Modules
4. Choose a Daytime 24V converter that supplies sufficient power
5. Optional: Choose a dimming option (e.g. LED computer TC420 / TC421 or Daytime SC20)
The Daytime Matrix profile has three channels. The colors daylight, red and blue of Sunlike Fresh and Sunlike Color modules can therefore be operated separately. Use LED computer TC420 / TC421 or Daytime SC20 for this.

How much LED lighting is needed above the aquarium?
Our advice is a light intensity of 25-40 lumens per liter of aquarium water for a planted aquarium.
Light intensity | 10-20 Lumen per Liter Moderate lighting | 20-30 Lumen per Liter Normal lighting | 30 Lumens and higher Lots of lighting |
Type of aquarium | Sufficient for Cryptocoryne, Anubias, Ferns etc. (e.g. Shrimp, Diskus or Africa aquarium) | For plants with slightly more light requirements such as moss, Hygrophila, Pogostemon and Sword plants | For plants that are more difficult to keep such as Hemianthus, Glossostigma, Rotalas, etc. |
CO2 fertilization: | Not necessary | Recommended | Indispensable |
