Aegagropila linnaei (moss ball)

The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei is not a real plant, but a ball of algae from 3-10cm in size. A decorative exception from the rule for algae in the aquarium to avoid. In nature the ball is to be found in shallow waters where the water movement ensures that a ball is formed.

In the aquarium may be in the form retained by the moss ball regularly to run. Cladophora aegagropila can be divided into smaller pieces. This will again new balls or carpet form. It is also attached to stones and wood.

Aegagropila linnaei is a special appearance in the aquarium. Also, shrimp is a party to search for food !

Goede kwaliteit mosballen

4 stuks in mijn verpakking. Goede kwaliteit staan leuk in het aquarium. Zijn niet al te groot maar bij elkaar liggend is dat prima.
