Cryptocoryne parva

Cryptocoryne parva comes from Sri Lanka and is the smallest of the Cryptocoryne species. The leaves are spoon-shaped and fresh green in color with a length of 3-6 cm.

Compared to other Cryptocoryne species, it requires slightly more light. So do not place it in the shade of other plants. Plant individual cuttings several inches apart. After about 6 months a dense group of plants will emerge. In addition to sufficient light, also provide some nutrition to the roots.

Cryptocoryne parva is a beautiful, small aquarium plant for the foreground and grows slowly. It forms a nice contrast with plants with round leaves or a piece of driftwood!
