When planting, small tufts can be distributed separately in the substrate with a few centimeters of space. Over time, a dense mat will develop. If desired, the plant can be pruned with scissors. It is a fairly easy-going aquarium plant that does not make many demands, but will do better with sufficient light and CO2.
