Hobby Hygro-Plus nebulizer is ideal for increasing the humidity of the air and the soil substrate in the terrarium. The mist maker can be used to protect the animals from dehydration and to meet their moisture needs. The humidity in a terrarium can also be increased so that plants can grow better. Water is sprayed as a real mist using ultrasonic technology. At a water level lower than 45mm, the fog machine switches off automatically.
The Hygro-Plus nebulizer ensures ideal humidity in the terrarium. The ultrasonic technology atomizes the water, producing a real water mist. Humidity is an important climatic factor. Humidity protects terrarium animals from drying out. Amphibians in particular are very dependent on humidity due to their thin skin. Humidity is essential for the substrate moisture. Damp shelters and cavities offer a lower air temperature than that prevailing in the rest of the terrarium due to the evaporative cold. The Hygro·Plus improves the climate conditions in the terrarium and thus makes a significant contribution to improving natural behavior.
The atmospheric effect of the Hobby Hygro·Plus can also be used for room fountains, for example. A pleasant climate can be created in the room. It is also ideal for use in a DOOA Mizukusa Mist Wall or for an atmospheric effect in a shallow aquarium.
Place the Hobby Hygro-Plus in the water reservoir or room fountain in such a way that the water at least covers the water level control sensor. The device functions optimally when the upper part of the water level control sensor is 5-30 mm submerged in water. Then connect the Hygro-Plus cable to the corresponding power supply and plug the plug into a suitable socket. Optimal performance is achieved when the supply line from the nebulizer to the mains supply is completely uncoiled and the water is at room temperature. The nebulizer atomizes approximately 150-200 ml of water per hour. As soon as the water level of the indoor fountain falls below the minimum level of the water level control sensor, the Hygro-Plus switches off automatically. The indicator light then lights up with half the light intensity. The nebulizer membrane has a limited lifespan and must be replaced periodically.
