Plant the stems separately with a few centimeters of space between them. Pogostemon will develop side shoots of its own, creating a dense forest. Stems that are too long are easy to prune, after which the plant will sprout again automatically. The plant does develop an impressive root system. Under intense lighting, growth will be more compact.
In a Wabi-kusa this plant is a real winner! The purple, plume-shaped flowers look very similar to "cat's tails" and are therefore very impressive. In an open aquarium, this plant can also grow above the water and form flowers.

Mooie planten die fris groen van kleur zijn en goed geworteld

Deze planten doen helemaal niks , ze zijn al bijna weg, de andere 2 soorten die ik heb gekregen doen het goed.
Wel mooie maar kleine topjes. Na planten waren binnen een week de meeste verdwenen. jammer.
Om een frisse kleur in je bak te krijgen is dit een fraai plantje. Sommige vissen kunnen de verleiding niet weerstaan om eraan te knabbelen, waardoor het plantje zeker als het pas geplant is regelmatig aan de oppervlakte van de bak terug te vinden is.

De titel zegt het al, planten van tropica in vitro zien er prachtig uit. stevige verpakkingen, ideaal dat je ze even in de koelkast kunt zetten bij aankomst.
In vitro plantjes zijn altijd kleiner dan gewone planten. Het grote voordeel is dat je nooit ongewenste slakken of ander ongedierte meekrijgt en ook geen schadelijke stoffen. Na een tijdje groeien ze goed uit. Mooi plantje en verzorgde verzending.
