Glossostigma elatinoides is without doubt one of the most beloved voorgrondplanten in a planted aquarium. This aquariumplant is originally from New Zealand and will, with sufficient light is a compact, green carpet of shapes. The plant is especially known thanks to the early work of Takashi Amano, and has quickly gained popularity.
Make for the planting of the small portions use a fine aquarium plant tweezers. Place the portions with a distance of approx. 1 cm spacing next to each other. Within a few weeks there will be a beautiful carpet forms. To Glossostigma elatinoides nice green color to keep, it is recommend to plant in ADA Aqua Soil Powder to plants with sufficient light of at least 1 Watt/L, sufficient Iron, Nitrate (>5mg/L), Phosphate (>0.5 mg/L) and CO2. For low light, the stems growing up. Make sure the plant is not under overhanging other plants.

Tijdens mijn bestelling niet gekeken of deze op voorraad waren, verwachte levertijd was 4-5 werkdagen! tot mijn verbazing werd deze na 2 dagen al geleverd! dit noem ik nou top service! Plantjes waren goed verpakt en blinken nu in mijn aquarium

Fris plantje

Fris plantje met goed stel worteltjes. Het geheel was uitstekend verpakt. Ik was pas na 4 dagen na ontvangst in de gelegenheid om ze te planten en ze zagen er nog even fris uit. Dat had ik niet verwacht. Nu nog even wachten op het beloofde tapijt ;)

Ideale voorgrondplant, prima kwaliteit

Omdat mijn eerder geplante voorgrondplantjes zijn afgestorven (te weinig licht gegeven in het begin), heb ik ter vervanging deze besteld. Dankzij een foutje van de bezorgdienst (verkeerd afhaaladres op het briefje geschreven), heeft het plantje een paar extra nachten op een servicepunt gestaan voordat ik ze op heb gehaald. Desondanks zag het plantje er nog prima uit toen ik hem eenmaal had: Mooie groene blaadjes, zoals op de afbeelding en alles was nog licht vochtig. Ook de wortels zagen er nog goed uit. Wat me sowieso erg opvalt aan dit plantje is dat de wortels mooi lang en goed wit van kleur zijn. Tot nu toe heb ik met de potjes met steenwol gewerkt. Dat is lang niet altijd even makkelijk om los te halen, waardoor ik soms meer wortel kapot maak dan ik leuk vind en sowieso zijn de worteltjes niet altijd ven lang / goed. Bij dit InVitro gekweekte plantje heb je dat probleem niet: Er zit geen steenwol omheen. Volgens mij wel een soort gelei, maar dat spoel je er makkelijk vanaf. Wat overblijft zijn plantjes met wortels die lang genoeg zijn om er een stukje af te knippen en toch genoeg over te houden om ze stevig in het substraat te zetten. Ik heb het plantje in kleinere plukken verdeeld door hem voorzichtig uit elkaar te trekken. Daarna heb ik ze met pincet in mijn substraat geplant. De al aanwezige diertjes (guppen, kegelvlekbarbeeltjes en citroengarnalen) hebben er de eerste dag vrolijk in omgewoeld, maar alle plukjes zijn keurig blijven zitten. Nu, na drie dagen, zie ik dat de plantjes mooi groen blijven en de eerste uitlopers krijgen. Ik ben benieuwd hoe lang het duurt voordat het een mooi tapijt wordt, maar de eerste tekenen zijn heel goed! Al met al is mijn indruk: Uitstekende kwaliteit, makkelijk om mee te werken. Moet waarschijnlijk wel regelmatig gesnoeid worden.
