In the aquarium, Starwort, as it is called in the Netherlands, is very easy to keep in the aquarium and grows well in both hard and soft water. Regular pruning ensures a compact shape and it is quite possible to introduce such a model into the group. For example, by cutting the front stems slightly lower and thus allowing the group to slope upwards towards the back. To expand the group, the cut stems can be put back into the ground, but the plant also produces new shoots itself.
