Micranthemum tweediei 'Monte Carlo' grows under good conditions across the bottom of the aquarium and forms a thick carpet of small round leaves.
Micranthemum tweediei 'Monte Carlo' comes from Argentina and looks very much like its brother 'umbrossum'. The Monte Carlo grows over the ground under good conditions and forms a thick carpet of small round leaves. It also looks very similar to Hemianthus callitrichoides, but grows much faster and has fewer requirements for lighting and CO2 fertilization. As a result, it also does well in conditions with less light, but will certainly benefit from intense lighting and CO2 fertilization.
Divide the plants into small portions and place them next to each other with a few centimeters between them. Preferably use a fine grain, such as the ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia Powder. The plant spreads by crawling over the ground and has a beautiful, fresh green color.
