Rotala 'Vietnam H'ra' is an aquarium plant with fairly small leaves and arching or creeping growth. It is probably a variant of the Rotala rotundifolia and has many similarities with Rotala sp. 'Green'.
High light intensity, good fertilization and CO2 addition will encourage the plant to creeping growth and warm, orange-tinted colors. This makes this plant very suitable for growing as a beautiful, dense, orange-tinted group of plants in the foreground to middle zone of the aquarium.
The plant, like many other stem plants, is easy to prune. This means it can be kept in perfect shape and will develop new shoots on its own. The compact growth and warm color offer many possibilities for use in the layout of the aquarium.
