Sagittaria subulata 1-2-Grow!

Sagittaria subulata is an aquariumplant that comes from South America. Ideal as a voorgrondplant and undemanding in the aquarium as much as 15 cm high.

Divide the plant into small portions with a spacing of 2 to 4 cm. He will spread through the foothills, where the few centimeters of a new plant arises. An average lighting is sufficient, and CO2 is not necessary, but will certainly have a positive impact on growth. Care should preferably also for a nutrient-rich substrate or sufficient fertilizer with Iron and trace elements for the best results.

In some cases it may be Sagittaria subulata also longer leaves produce up to 60cm, but normally it is not higher than 10cm. If he had the opportunity to 60cm, it can be used as achtergrondplant.

Sagittaria subulata is a nice, easy aquariumplant for the foreground or middle zone and provides a nice contrast with, for example, Anubias or Glossostigma !
