Vesicularia dubyana 'Christmas' 1-2-Grow!
Vesicularia dubyana 'Christmas' is a mossoort for the aquarium originated from Brazil. It owes its name, 'Christmas moss' to the structure with branches resembling a pine tree. This is, therefore, a clear distinction with the standard 'java moss'. Also the growth is slower and has slightly more difficulty with the adhesion to a substrate.
Tie the moss firmly on stone or wood with nylon thread, or Moss Cotton. The moss is growing is fixed, preferably on rough surfaces, and should be carefully in the model to be pruned for maximum effect. The requirements for lighting, CO2 and nutrients are low and the Christmas Moss grows in almost any aquarium. Shrimp love to have the moss to go in search of food.
Vesicularia dubyana 'Christmas' is a beautiful mossoort for the aquarium and looks very decorative on wood and stone !
