Azaqua Stainless Steel Skimmer Set
Stainless Steel Skimmer Set is the stylish solution for good water circulation and a clean water surface. At the top of the inflow is a floating suction strainer that sucks the water from the water surface. Floating dirt particles are actively transported to the filter. The result is a clean water surface. This is also the ideal solution to prevent an oil film (comb layer).
A sleeve can be rotated at the bottom so that part of the input openings can be covered. In this way the degree of suction can be adjusted from above. If the openings are completely covered, all the water at the surface will be sucked in. With the openings open, water will also be sucked in from below.
The big advantage of Stainless Steel compared to glass is that the inside does not become visibly dirty. What is also striking about the design is that the tubes are quite long. This also makes it less noticeable when the filter hoses are dirty on the inside. Ideal when cleaning hoses and lily pipes are not considered fun activities. The glossy finish gives the lily pipes an industrial, modern look that will fit into any interior.
The set includes acrylic holders to secure the filter tubes to the edge of the glass. Not everyone is equally charmed by that. Optionally, you can use Transparent suction cup O 16 for the 17mm set or Transparent suction cup clip-12 for the 13mm set.
