Unlike many of the other Echinodorus species, the 'Red Diamond' is relatively small. This makes it very suitable as solitary plant in a smaller tank. A nutrient-rich soil will promote growth and sufficient light is on the development of ruby red leaves is stimulated. Unwanted leaves can be trimmed off.

Bij opening van het pakket was er bij deze plant een half bruin blad. Dit verwijt ik de bezorgdienst. Deze hadden het pakket achter de vuilnisbak gezet met een buitentemperatuur van 10°. De rest van mijn bestelling was prima
Ik had 2 potjes besteld. Hieruit heb ik drie plantjes van een 10 cm hoog gehaald, ééntje meer dan verwacht :-). Heb wel enkele blaadjes dienen af te knippen, maar de plantjes waren vol genoeg en tevens sterk beworteld. Kleur van groen naar bruinrood. Ik kijk uit naar de volgroeide vorm en kleuren. Levering was vlekkeloos.
