This species is best in a group, so a nice field occurs where the fresh green color nicely contrasted by dark green plants. Under ideal conditions, the plant forms runners which further evolve into a new rosette. Unwanted shoots can be cut off. If the leaves are very light, this is a sign of a deficiency.
