Hemianthus micranthemoides is from North America and is a graceful aquariumplant with narrow, curved leaves and is 10-20cm high.
Plant the stems as much as possible independently, in small groups or with a little gap. After some time, forms a nice bush with stems and lush green leaves. Such a group is very decorative for the central zone. The plant spreads by suckers and can easily get into a desired model to be pruned. Make sure you have enough CO2, lighting and nutrients to keep him nice and compact to keep.

Mooi plantje voor aan de randjes in combinatie met zijn kleine broertje de Cuba. Kon uit 1 plantje 4 mooie kleine stekjes maken.

Hemianthus micranthemoides - in klassiek potje

Heb ik in mijn nano 50l gebruikt als achtergrondplantje. Heb ze in bosjes bij mekaar gepland zodat ze een mooi geheel gaan vormen. Een mooi fris smal plantje dat ik gebruik om ook groen in de hoogte te krijgen zonder dat het te "zwaar" wordt in mijn nano. Geeft ook een mooi contrast met het spiderwood. Weer zeer gezonde plantjes zoals we gewoon zijn van Azaqua. 1 potje had in het midden wat algen, maar dat is moeilijk te vermijden omdat het al een echte "bos" is als ze toekomen. Heb ze meerdere keren voorzichtig afgewassen en klaar om te planten! Na een maand nog altijd geen algen te bespeuren.
