Juncus repens is found in the southeastern wetlands of North America. It looks a lot like grass and is easy to care for in the aquarium. With a lot of light and a good dose of nutrition, the plant can take on a reddish-brown hue. Juncus repens takes on a beautiful green color under normal light conditions.
In the aquarium it comes into its own in the middle zone or in the back of a small aquarium. Without too much effort the plant will multiply. Stems that are too long can be cut off, just like with stem plants. Unfortunately, the leaves can be somewhat sensitive to green pointed algae.
