Ludwigia glandulosa comes from North America and is a beautiful, colorful aquariumplant. He grows slowly and is 15-40cm high and 5-12cm wide.
On the leaves of this intensely colored aquariumplant comes under good conditions, it a beautiful glass to top. Ludwigia glandulosa was previously known under the name Ludwigia perennis. With sufficient light the color is deeper red to purple and keep the internodes shorter. Plant the stems separately from each other with a few centimetres gap, so that the light, the lower leaves can reach.
Ludwigia glandulosa has to take good care a color from spatter and very good contrasts with light green aquarium plants !
