Ammannia crassicaulis comes from Africa and is a beautiful, strongly recommended aquariumplant, although he does have some light asks. The height is about 30-50cm.
The leaves are reddish brown, cognac color. It grows best Nesaea crassicaulis in soft and lichtzuur water. Make sure that also the bottom leaves have enough light, otherwise it will disintegrate.
To the plant to increase can stems be trimmed off and the tops back to the substrate in inserted. There will also be side shoots are formed.

Miniscule plantjes

Beide pothes met miniscule plantjes. Voor in achtergrond hoop ik dat ze opkomen verder. Slechts paar stekjes van 5 cm maar meeste amper te planten. Van wortel tot top 3 cm

Had deze plant besteld maar een geheel andere plant ontvangen zonder naamkaartje. Een plant met grove groene bladeren maar zeker niet deze, dus kan geen beoordeling geven van deze fraaie plant.

Voor de eerste keer aquariumplant gekocht via internet. De plant werd geleverd in heel goede staat. Voorlopig staan ze in mijn quarantainebakje, ik hoop dat ze flink groeien tot wanneer ze in mijn nieuwe groot aquarium kunnen geplant worden. Ik ben heel tevreden over deze bestelling ! Begint binnen 4 dagen al langzaam rood te kleuren. Deze plant zal na een aantal snoeibeurten pas gaan uitzien zoals op de foto, dus ben niet verbaasd hoe het plantje eruit ziet bij de levering. Hij sloeg heel snel aan en groeit vrij snel. Echt een aanrader in een dutch/nature scape!
