Echinodorus palaefolius var. latifolius occurs in marshy areas in Brazil and has round leaves with a horizontal bladaanzet.
Under water the leaves are narrower and longer (20-40 long). In the aquarium this plant can also grow out of the water which is very decorative can be in an open aquarium.
