Aquarium LED lighting with exceptional performance!
Daytime eco LED aquarium lighting is of excellent quality! Economical in use, perfect color rendering and very long lifespan. High-quality LED lighting for freshwater and seawater aquariums that can be placed above the aquarium in various ways.
The design:
The extremely flat design of the eco LED unit convinces with its timeless design. The solid, durable anodized aluminum housing is particularly resistant to corrosion. Due to the unique design, the LED unit does not get warmer than 40 degrees, which means an extremely long lifespan can be achieved. With the LEXAN superclear cover plate, the LED unit is dust and waterproof.
The performance:
Equipped with the latest LED technology from Seoul Semiconductor (SSC), the Daytime aquarium LED lighting produces a light output of no less than 120 Lumen per Watt! Compared to fluorescent or T5 lighting, this results in an energy saving of 50% and provides a more impressive image. A brilliant color rendering (CRI> 90) with an extremely long lifespan of more than 60,000 hours also provides constant light intensity in the long term. The Daytime eco line is therefore the environmentally friendly alternative. You save energy and get more light output in return.
The benefits for your plants and animals:
The life in the ecosystem in your aquarium remains accustomed to the same amount of light intensity over many years. Your fish, plants and corals will thank you. Realistic reflections of light and shadow produced by the water surface are also a feast for the eyes. This gives a radiant, atmospheric and very natural image in the aquarium!
The many options for the light colors:
The Daytime eco LED lighting is supplied with 2 LED rows as standard. There is a choice of 7 different color temperatures that are suitable for both freshwater and seawater aquariums.
Unique to Daytime LED aquarium lighting are the extensive options to adjust the lighting to your wishes. It is possible to add an extra row (3rd row) of LEDs in the middle. This increases the light output by 50% and is particularly suitable for an aquarium where a high light intensity is required. This 3rd LED row option also makes it possible to use a different light color as the 3rd row. This allows an even broader light spectrum to be offered. For example, for a plant aquarium you can choose 2 LED rows with Ultra White (7000K) and the 3rd LED row with Neutral White (5000K). LED lighting for a seawater aquarium can consist of 2 LED rows of Ultra White with a 3rd LED row in Nautic Blue. Combine the colors according to your personal needs!
NOTE: The addition of a 3rd row of LEDs also increases power consumption (Watts) by 50%. Take this into account when selecting the 12V adapter .
The many options for installation/attachment:
The Daytime LED eco can be installed above the aquarium in many ways and there is a suitable solution for every aquarium. For an open aquarium there are stylish mounting brackets, Swing or universal brackets. But also for existing light covers, it is possible to place the LED unit in the existing T5 or T8 lamp bases using the T5 or T8 mounting. NOTE: (The T5/T8 holders are mounting brackets only and do not supply power to the LED unit)
Especially for JUWEL or EHEIM aquariums, there is a stylish, practical solution to place the eco LED unit in a Daytime adapter profile. The existing Juwel or Eheim valve covers fit exactly in here. The Daytime LED unit hangs perfectly in the middle, the light cover is beautifully finished and there is more space for maintenance.
The expansion options:
It is also possible to use multiple Daytime LED units on one with the 3-way distributor Connect 12V adapter . If you want multiple Daytime LED units above the aquarium, but can switch them on/off separately with, for example, a timer, you will need several 12V adapters. This way you can put together your own aquarium LED system entirely according to your wishes!
Using the dimmer, all LED units connected to one 12V adapter can be dimmed with 1 Dim module . The LED unit(s) can be automatically provided with sunrise and sunset with a 1-channel Lighting Control . The LED computer can be connected to program the lighting accurately to the minute.

How much LED lighting is needed above the aquarium?
Our advice is a light intensity of 25-40 lumens per liter of aquarium water for a planted aquarium.
Light intensity | 10-20 Lumen per Liter Moderate lighting | 20-30 Lumen per Liter Normal lighting | 30 Lumens and higher Lots of lighting |
Type of aquarium | Sufficient for Cryptocoryne, Anubias, Ferns etc. (e.g. Shrimp, Diskus or Africa aquarium) | For plants with slightly more light requirements such as moss, Hygrophila, Pogostemon and Sword plants | For plants that are more difficult to keep such as Hemianthus, Glossostigma, Rotalas, etc. |
CO2 fertilization: | Not necessary | Recommended | Indispensable |

REMARK:
Make sure that the correct 12V adapter is chosen. The wattage of the lighting may not exceed the 12V adapter.
Luminous intensity in the table applies to the 2700, 5000 and 7,000 Kelvin version. The other lamps provide fewer lumens per watt.
- Warm White(2700 K), warm white lighting for freshwater aquarium.
- Neutral White (5000 K), bright white light for healthy plant growth and true-to-life colors.
- Ultra White (7000 K), sterile and bright white light for beautiful plant growth, but also suitable for seawater.
- Ultra Blue White (15000 K + peak 465nm) - 90 Lumen/Watt, Clear blue light, also suitable for Malawi and Tanganyika aquarium.
- Ultra Blue Red White (15000 K + Peak 465 nm + Peak 650 nm) - 100 Lumen/Watt
- Nautik Blue (465 nm + Peak 465 nm) - 23 Lumen/Watt, can also be used as night lighting
- Nautik Blue Red (476 nm + Peak 650 nm) - 40 Lumen/Watt (enhances blue and red tones)
