Aquarium LED lighting with exceptional performance!
Daytime eco LED aquarium lighting is of excellent quality! Economical in use, perfect colour rendering and very long life. High-quality LED lighting for freshwater and seawater aquarium in various ways over the aquarium is to place.
The design:
The extremely flat design of the eco LED unit convinces with its timeless design. The robust, sturdy housing of anodised aluminium is particularly resistant to corrosion. Due to the unique design the LED unit is not warmer than 40 degrees, making an extremely long service life can be achieved. With the LEXAN superclear top is the LED unit dust - and waterproof.
The performance:
Equipped with the latest LED technology, Seoul Semiconductor (SSC) produces the Daytime LED aquarium lighting with a light output of 120 Lumens per Watt! In comparison with FLUORESCENT or T5 lighting yields energy savings of 50% and provides a more impressive image. A brilliant colour rendition (CRI> 90) with extremely long lifespan of more than 60,000 hours also delivers on the long-term constant brightness. The Daytime eco line is therefore the environmentally friendly alternative. You save energy and get more light output for back.
The benefits for your plants and animals:
The life in the ecosystem in your aquarium remains accustomed to the same amount of light intensity over the many years. Your fish, plants and corals will thank you. Unique Daytime LED aquarium lighting are the extended options to the lighting to your needs. It is possible to add an extra row (3rd row) LEDS in the middle to add. This increases the light output by 50% and is in particular suitable for an aquarium where a high light intensity requires. By this 3rd LED row option, it is also possible to have a different colour of light as the 3rd row. Allows a broader light spectrum to be offered. For a plantenaquarium, for example, can be selected for 2 LED rows with Ultra White (7000K) and the 3rd LED row with Neutral White (5000K). LED lighting for marine water aquarium can consist of 2 LED rows with Ultra White, a 3rd LED row in Nautic Blue. Combine the colors to your personal needs!
NOTE: Due to the addition of a 3rd row of LEDS also increases the power consumption (Watt) with 50%. Keep this in mind when selecting the 12V adapter.
The many options for the placement/confirm:
The Daytime LED eco is in many ways above the aquarium and each aquarium is an appropriate solution. For an open aquarium, there are stylish opzetbeugels, Swing or universeelbeugels. But also for existing canopies it is using the T5 or T8 mounting allows the LED unit in the existing T5 or T8 sockets. NOTE: (T5/T8 brackets are just brackets and with the LED unit does not power on)
Especially for JUWEL or EHEIM aquariums, there is bovendein the stylish, practical solution to the eco LED unit in a Daytime adapterprofiel. The existing Juwel or Eheim klepdeksels fit here again. The Daytime LED unit hangs perfectly in the middle, the light cover is nicely finished and there is more space for maintenance.
The possibilities for expansion:
It is also possible to use the 3-way distributor multiple Daytime LED units on a single 12V adapter to connect. If you would like more Daytime LED units above the aquarium, but this individual on/off switch, for example, with a timer, you have multiple 12V adapters. For example, you set your own aquarium LED system tailored to your needs together!
With the help of the dimmer switch all LED units that are on one 12V adapter are connected with 1 Dimming module to dim. The LED unit(s) can be automatically provided with zonopkomst and -doom with a 1-channel Lighting Control. To set the lights up to the minute programming of the LED computer be connected.

How much LED lighting is needed above the aquarium?
Our advice is, a light intensity of 25-40 Lumens per Litre of aquarium water for a planted aquarium.
Light intensity | 10-20 Lumens per Liter Moderate lighting | 20-30 Lumens per Liter Normal lighting | 30 Lumen and higher Lots of lighting |
Type of aquarium | Sufficient for Cryptocoryne, Anubias, Ferns etc. (e.g. Shrimp, Diskus or Africa aquarium) | For plants with more light requirements such as moss, Hygrophila, Pogostemon and Zwaardplanten | For more sustainable plants such as Hemianthus, Glossostigma, Rotala, etc. |
CO2 fertilization: | Not necessary | Recommended | Indispensable |
50 L | 500-1000 Lumens | 1000-1500 Lumens | >1500 Lumens |
100 L | 1000-2000 Lumen | 2000-3000 Lumen | >3000 Lumen |
150 L | 1500-3000 Lumens | 3000-4500 Lumen | >4500 Lumens |
200 L | 2000-4000 Lumen | 4000-6000 Lumen | >6000 Lumen |

NOTE:
Please note that the correct 12V adapter is chosen. The Wattage of the lights should not be higher than 12V adapter.
Brightness value in the table applies to 2700, 5000 and 7,000 Kelvin execution. The other lights deliver less Lumens per Watt.
- Warm White(2700k), warm white lighting for freshwater aquarium.
- Neutral White(5000 K), bright, white light for healthy plant growth and a natural colour balance.
- Ultra White (7000 K), sterile and bright white light for great plant growth, but also suitable for seawater.
- Ultra Blue White (15000 K + peak 465nm) - 90 Lumens/Watt, clear blue light, are also suitable for Malawi and tanganyika maintain aquarium.
- Ultra Blue Red White (15000 K + Peak at 465 nm + Peak 650 nm) - 100 Lumen/Watt
- Nautik Blue (465 nm + Peak 465 nm) - 23 Lumens/Watt, also as a night light to use
- Nautik Blue Red (476 nm + Peak 650 nm) - 40 Lumens/Watt (enhanced blue and red hues)
