Aqua Rebell Makro Basic - Nitrat
Nitrate is an important nutrient for plants. Adding plant food to an aquarium that is full of plants and has strong lighting is essential. If there are relatively few fish present, a shortage of important nutrients can quickly occur. As a result, plant growth does not function optimally. Makro Basic Nitrat increases the nitrate value in the aquarium. Aquarium plants are supplied with the most important nutrients Nitrogen(N) and Potassium(K). This allows aquarium plants to grow back vigorously with even fuller crowns and a lush, vital appearance!
A water change of 25-50% per week is recommended. The dosage can be increased or decreased depending on the conditions in the aquarium. This fertilizer should not be used if there is a high Nitrate value in the aquarium. This liquid plant fertilizer for aquarium plants is formulated in such a way that large quantities cannot accumulate in the aquarium. If a nitrate value is measured that is too high when adding this plant food, the dosage must be reduced.

The dosage advice for this plant food is a guideline. Nutritional intake varies per aquarium. The dosage can be reduced or increased depending on the type of aquarium for optimal results.
The standard supply of macro nutrients in the aquarium is provided by the NPK fertilization, the Estimative Index fertilization or by the loose fertilization (Makro Basic Nitrat, Phosphat and Potassium). Nitrate fertilization is the most important of the loose Makro Basic nutrients, because rapid plant growth can result in a shortage of Nitrate (NO3). The result is poor, unhealthy plant growth. Makro Basic Nitrat adds the important nutrient Nitrogen(N) to the aquarium and can be dosed weekly after a water change, for example. This allows an ideal value of approximately 10-20mg/l for aquarium plants to be achieved. Makro Basic Nitrat can of course also be added daily. In addition to the addition of Nitrogen(N), Mikro Basic Nitrat also adds the important element Potassium(K) to the aquarium. This lays the foundation for healthy plant growth!
