GlasGarten Shrimp Baby Food is a powdered rearing food for ornamental shrimps. Rich in proteins with a high content of zooplankton, natural vitamins, minerals and a high content of omega-3 fatty acids. Young shrimp are provided with everything they need for healthy development and gain sufficient strength and energy from this. The 300 gram ppm portion of astaxanthin promotes good pigment development for red, yellow and orange shrimp from the start, so that they show an intensive display of colour.
Newly hatched shrimp larvae require a wide range of different nutrients after their first molt (after hatching until the first molt, they eat nothing and obtain their nutrients from the yolk sac).
Shrimp Baby Food contains all essential proteins and amino acids that are important for healthy growth. Easily digestible carbohydrates and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) provide the necessary energy for molting. Carefully selected algae, vegetables and herbs provide the shrimp with micronutrients. Green-lipped mussels are known for their high content of glycosaminoglycan, which is a very valuable component of the shrimp shell. The mix of multivitamins that has been added provides your shrimp with all the vitamins they need and prevents deficiencies. Essential minerals and trace elements are provided by a concentrate of red calcified algae containing more than 50 different minerals and trace elements.
Shrimp Baby Food is a fully extruded product. This production method guarantees high digestibility. All nutrients in this food are highly absorbable. The powdered micro-granules form a thin film layer on all surfaces in the aquarium. This is necessary because baby shrimp are not really mobile in the beginning. They usually stay where they came out, so the food has to come to them. If this is not done, they risk starving.
Shirmp Baby food is produced with the utmost care. It is fully extruded and 100% solid powder form. Contains 300 ppm astaxanthin for more brilliant colors.
