These dark gray stones for the aquarium are formed from the fossil remains of snails. White dots and stripes are present in the stones and numerous snail shells can be discovered. Black Snailstone is perfect for use in the aquarium and has a highly decorative character.
In the search for an original aquascape, a choice for the Black Snailstone is obvious. It is not used much. That is a shame, because the stone has many possibilities. From a distance, a group of stones quickly reminds of a beautiful mountain range. The surface is less pronounced than the standard Gray Mountain Stone or Seiryu Stones, but still very interesting. They are not too crowded, although there is a lot to discover in the stones if you look at them longer. With the dark base color a nice contrast is quickly formed with both green and red aquarium plants.
Use the Black Snailstones in an Iwagumi or simply in a community aquarium. They never get bored. As far as we are concerned, these stones are also an excellent choice for a Malawi or Tanganyika cichlid aquarium. They stack easily and are not too sharp. This creates beautiful openings for hiding places. In short; original, sturdy stones for every aquarium.
