Black Venom Stone
Black Venom Stone has a vibrant black color. Various shades of black and gray can be discovered in the smooth, black glazed surface, sometimes with fascinating patterns. Truly a type of stone that does not immediately reveal its beauty, but which needs to be looked at a little longer. That makes it an ideal stone for the aquarium. When the stone is used in an aquascape, it provides a beautiful contrast with green plants.
Under water the color will be close to black. Thanks to its slightly shiny surface with small nuances and white lines, the Black Venom Stone is ideal for imitating a dark rock formation. The dark color can also be used to enhance shadows in the layout. The surface is smooth, making it difficult for mosses to grow on it. They can be stacked well to make creative constructions. A combination with Driftwood, Spiderwood or Manzanita wood is also possible. Even more atmosphere can be given to the aquascape by combining it with WIO Silver Shadow nano rocks, WIO Black Venom boulder and WIO Heaven sand. Combining the stones in the aquarium with, for example, Hemianthus callitrichoides 'Cuba' creates a nice contrast. Black Venom Stone offers plenty of options for an impressive layout!
The stones can slightly increase the hardness of the aquarium. This can be easily overcome by regularly changing the water. They can be used directly in the aquarium. It doesn't hurt to immerse them in a bucket or rinse them under the tap.
