Mooi soort steen. Weegt niks en bevat verschillende kleuren bruin en hier en daar een glinstering.
Super mooie stenen met ader van een soort kristal. Geeft geen kleur af. Gewoon eens af spoelen voor het plaatsen in de scape. Ze zijn wel broos en hebben scherpe kantjes op sommige plaatsen.
Stenen kopen op afstand is altijd wat lastig. Toen ik echter deze Maple Leaf Rock voorbij zag komen in het reclamefilmpje van Azaqua dacht ik meteen "hier kan ik me geen buil aan vallen". Ik omschreef Wilco wat mijn wensen waren en de door hem uitgekozen stenen overtroffen zelfs mijn (zeer hoge) verwachtingen. De omschrijving van de website onderschrijf ik volledig. Elke steen heeft een eigen uitgesproken, levendig karakter. Zeer warme kleuren en als bonus prachtige, subtiele kristallisatie hier en daar. Dit is op de plaatjes niet waar te nemen. Het blijft natuurlijk altijd een kwestie van smaak maar ik vind ze een echte aanrader. Zeer geschikt voor het maken van ruige maar mooie rotsformaties. Ze zijn ruw waardoor je ze goed kunt stapelen of bemossen. Ze wegen iets meer dan lavastenen maar zijn, naar verhouding, vrij licht te noemen. ik ontving 5 forse stenen en 5 wat kleinere stenen bij een bestelling van 15 kg.
