Fissidens fontanus

Fissidens fontanus is a special moss species for the aquarium and comes from North America. It looks like it consists of small green feathers. The color is deep green and the growth is quite slow. Compared to other moss types, it needs much more light.

The moss is supplied on a mesh. Preferably do not use this mesh in the aquarium, but tie the moss with nylon thread or ADA Moss Cotton . The moss attaches itself to the surface, both horizontally and vertically. Very suitable for use in a nano aquarium.

The mesh size is approximately 50x50mm


Fissidens fontanus is a very attractive moss species for the aquarium that gives a special impression. The color contrasts nicely with fresh green and once grown on driftwood it is real eye candy!
