2Hr Aquarist APT Sky replenishes all vital minerals in RO or osmosis water without negative change to NPK, KH or pH. Having the ideal KH and GH in the aquarium is essential for the growth of aquarium plants. If these values become too high, some plants will have trouble growing.
Ideal values in a plant aquarium are a dGH of 5-7. When keeping more difficult plant species, a KH value of 2 or even less is desirable. In most cases, tap water is too hard and osmosis water is then required. With APT Sky, the dGH is increased to the desired value, without increasing the KH. Each 5ml (3.5gr) per 60L adds 12ppm calcium and 3.5ppm magnesium (+2.5 dGH).
Recommended: 15ml per 60L RO/RODI water. Regularly measure the dGH value of the water to check whether there is not too much or too little calcium and magnesium present.
APT SKY solves a complex issue of increasing water hardness (particularly as a GH booster), without affecting NPK values (which interfere with calibrated ratios of fertilizers) and KH (where higher values are not preferred by most commercial aquatic plants).
