HS Aqua Oxy is an additive that increases the oxygen content in the aquarium. When adding HS Aqua Oxy, a lot of oxygen is released. This is immediately absorbed into the water and provides a boost in the oxygen content.
When the aquarium water is too warm or when there is nitrite poisoning, HS Aqua Oxy can offer a solution. The extra oxygen will make the air-gasping fish manageable again. Extra oxygen can also activate bacteria to convert waste faster.
HS Aqua Oxy is also excellent to use for algae control. Thread algae, beard algae and certainly blue algae cannot stand the product. For a treatment, the daily dose of 25ml per 100l of aquarium water can be taken up in a syringe. This can then be sprayed directly onto the algae. Due to the oxidation that occurs, the algae will die. This can be repeated daily until the algae is gone. Keep in mind that mosses and plants with soft leaves can also be damaged. This applies; the softer the leaf, the more vulnerable. Preferably adjust the dosage downwards. The dead algae must be removed so that they do not cause further nuisance.
In sensitive animals and plants, the dose should be halved.
