Manzanita wood M (40-50cm)
Manzanita wood comes from shrubby trees from Northwest America. The branches are very winding and have many side branches and are extremely decorative in the aquarium. Manzanita wood is a hard type of wood that sinks quickly and does not release substances into the water. Perfect to use in a natural aquarium!
Manzanita wood sinks quickly, does not add dust or discoloration to the aquarium and does not rot. Ideal wood for a Nature Aquarium, but of course also perfect for use in a Biotope aquarium. By making the branches smaller, fallen twigs can be simulated in a natural way, without adversely affecting water quality!
Instructions for use Manzanita wood
Soak it before use so that it can absorb water. Normally it takes 24-48 hours for it to sink on its own, depending on the thickness. No further treatment is necessary. Once under water, the wood turns a nice brown color over time.
Tip: Manzanita wood is also nice for tying ferns, anubias or java moss.

PLEASE NOTE: The photos are indicative. The delivered product differs and the colors in the photo may also differ. Each piece is unique, but will be consistent with the photos shown. It is not possible to receive photos in advance or to come and find them, because all the handling can cause pieces to break off and that is not good for the wood.
