Hygrophila 'Siamensis 53B'
Hygrophila corymbosa 'Siamensis 53B' is a variety of Hygrophila corymbosa 'Siamensis'. This is, however, much more side shoots and is rapidly becoming a beautiful forest. The stems 15-40cm long and the leaves are 7-12cm.
The leaves are slightly narrower and have a beautiful bright green color. Under good light conditions, the leaves are even red-brown. For the aquarium, this is a very easy plant that has few requirements. Large stems can be cut off and the tops can be re-the substrate to be planted. On the cut-out part will be a new spur. Plant the stems with enough space, so that the lower part is sufficient light.
Care in preference for a nutrient-rich soil and sufficient light. In the absence of light, the bottom leaves to lose weight.
Hygrophila 'Siamensis 53B' is a pretty full group. The leaves are large, and pretty sturdy and is therefore ideal to combine with aquarium plants with fine leaves.
