EHEIM phosphateout Fosfaatverwijderaar
EHEIM phosphateout removes phosphate from the aquarium on chemical way and inhibits this growth of algae. Phosphates caused by organic pollution in the aquarium (fish excrement, dead animals, feeding, etc.). In particular, the growth of blue-green algae is related to high fosfaatwaardes.
This filter material consists of a special IJzerverbinding for chemical filtering. The Iron binds the phosphate, making it out of the water column is removed. The phosphate content in the aquarium is gradually reduced. Growth of algae is thus slowed down.
If the phosphate content in the aquarium (and therefore algae growth) begins to rise, it means that the filter material is developed and needs to be replaced. EHEIM phosphate out is available as granulate for external aquariumfilters. Suitable for both freshwater and seawater.
