Gewoon simpel , doet wat hij hoort te doen. Gewoon top produkt
Na een paar maanden de skimmer te hebben gebruikt kom ik tot deze conclusie. Om de skimmer schoon te maken moet je het doorzichtige deel loshalen, hierdoor komt er een zeer kwetsbaar plastic plaatje mee die met twee dunne plastic pinnetjes vast zit. Inmiddels is al een van deze pinnetjes los, en ik verwacht dat de tweede het ook binnenkort begeeft. Dit plaatje houdt ook de onderste twee zuignappen op hun plaats waardoor er tijdens het loshalen kracht op komt te staan. Daarmee vind ik het een zeer onhandig ontwerp wat kwetsbaar is. Als de skimmer in werking is doet hij het verder goed en maakt weinig geluid. Echter vanwege het gebrekkige ontwerp raad ik deze skimmer niet aan.
Heb ook een eheim skimmer. Die er heel lomp uit ziet. Deze ziet er veel beter uit. En de kabel is niet zo irritant als die van eheim. Werkt super en goedkoper
Deze skimmer/ filterpomp aangeschaft met als bedoeling dat hij in mijn cube 20x20 cm zou komen, echter hij pompt zo krachtig, dat de bodem flink begint op te woelen. Hij heeft een dimfunctie aan de zijkant, maar die doet te weinig. Ik zou deze skim van Azoo aanbevelen voor aquaria groter dan mijn 20x20 cm bakje. Verder vind ik deze skim er erg stylie en minimalistisch uitzien. Dat was de reden voor mij om voor deze te kiezen.

Werd goed en is transparant en dat is wel zo mooi met een foggy achtergrond.
Deze gekocht omdat deze wat minder op zou vallen in de bak tov de eheim skim 350. En dat doet die ook qwa voormaat zijn ze ongeveer even groot maar het transperante bovenhuis met het wit valt bij mij minder op omdat ik geen achterwand heb maar witte folie. Ook het lagere verbruik sprak mij aan in mijn kleine 60 lieter bak. Makkelijk is ook dat je gelijk ziet wat er in de skimmer zit (bv een granaal). helaas maakt de AZOO meer brom lawaai dan de eheim. En glijt de vlotter niet mooi door het onderhuis waardoor deze niet mee zakt met het waterniveau en je hem steeds zelf moet verzetten als hij lucht aanzuigt.
