Foreground plants
Foreground plants are basicly aquarium plants that stay low. Combine different types of aquarium plants that provide contrast with each other in color, leave shape and height. This way a playful and interesting under water landscape can be created.

The plant is one of the smallest Anubias, each leaf is smaller than a fingernail. It is just as easy to grow as other Anubias species, so it does not like bright light.

Anubias 'Petite' is a mutation of the Anubias nana and has even smaller leaves. This also grows very slowly and is not always easy to keep in good conditions. It remains smaller than 5cm and the rhizome grows to 10cm or longer.
