Anubias barteri var. nana is a small, decorative aquarium plant that grows well in a variety of conditions. It originally comes from Cameroon and grows to a size of about 5 to 10 cm. The rhizome also reaches a length of 10cm or more. Anubias grows slowly and the leaves last several years.
