In Vitro aquarium plants are grown in a laboratory under steriel conditions. Tiny pieces of tissue plant material is placed on special gel to grow new healthy, algae free, pesticide free, snail free and germ free plants in a cup. One cup is richly filled with lots of young shoots, full of growth potention!
Aponogeton crispus is from Sri Lanka and is a beautiful plant in the aquarium. The transparent, wavy, light green leaves are about 25-50cm long and the plant is 15-25cm wide.
Cryptocoryne crispatula comes from southern Thailand where it grows in water that can be quite hard. The leaves of this aquarium plant are thin, corrugated and can grow 20-60cm long.

Limnobium laevigatum comes from South America and is a decorative floating plant that is very suitable for an open aquarium. The leaves are 1-5cm high and 5-15cm wide.
Nymphoides sp. occurs in Asia and Africa and this variant of the species comes from southern Taiwan. This rosette plant grows 15-25cm high and 10-15cm wide.
