Aquarium plants for the mid-ground reach above the foreground plants and can be placed in front of the background plants. The midground can be covered with medium height plants or plant groups or solitairy plants on the Golden Ratio. Combine different types of plants with a contrast in leave shape, leave color and texture for maximum results.

This Myriophyllum retains its beautiful green color in the aquarium, even at high light intensity. Each stem grows to about 2-3cm wide and branches easily, quickly creating a dense, lush forest.
Proserpinaca palustris 'Cuba' is a characteristic aquarium plant that is easily recognized by its strongly serrated leaf edge. A plant with a high decorative value for the aquarium! The height of the stems varies between 10 and 40 cm.
