High light intensity in combination with good water circulation and abundant fertilization, including CO2 supply, are essential. Growth is upright, arching and vigorous, so regular pruning is necessary. Because the plant does not always produce new shoots after pruning, the cut top shoots must be replanted. Remove the lower leaves and plant the shoot in the ground, where roots will quickly form.
